What is a “sitting fee”?
A sitting fee is the charge for the initial photography session, typically for portraits or headshots. This fee covers the photographer’s creative expertise, the time spent photographing you, and collaborating to achieve the desired outcome. It applies to the service of taking pictures, separate from the cost of purchasing prints or digital files. Its purpose is to secure the session and confirm the client’s commitment to the photography process.
How do I schedule my session?
Scheduling your session is quick and easy—less than 5 minutes! You can book online or give us a call if you need additional information. Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation via email. You can also reschedule or cancel your appointment online at your convenience.

Which should I choose?
Headshots are close-up images focusing primarily on your face, ideal for professional use such as resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or social media. Portraits, on the other hand, offer more personality and storytelling potential. They can capture more than just your face, incorporating props or instruments to convey a deeper narrative about who you are.
My plans changed & I need to reschedule. What should I do?
If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. HeadshotLV requires a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of your session time, or if you're running more than 20 minutes late. For sessions that include makeup or hairstyling services, we ask for a 48-hour notice to make any changes.
If the required notice is not provided, a fee of $200 will be charged for session cancellations or reschedules. For makeup or hairstyling sessions, an additional $200 fee will apply. Please be aware that we may cancel the makeup session if you arrive late. If you need assistance, email us or use the "reschedule button" before you cancel.
What is unlimited studio time?
Unlimited studio time means there is no set limit on how long your session can last. While typical sessions range from 20 to 45 minutes, we don't want to rush you. If needed, we'll extend the session to allow for wardrobe changes and other elements of your photoshoot. Although our online booking system assigns a time limit, please be assured this is only for scheduling purposes and doesn't impact the flexibility we offer during your session.
This ensures that you can take the time needed to get your best shots, and we are happy to accommodate your needs during the session.

What do I need to know?
We’re excited to work with you! Our headshot sessions are designed to be enjoyable and easygoing. During the session, we’ll review the images together so you can select your favorite shots by the end.
How should I dress for my headshot?
For your headshot, choose solid, muted colors like navy, grey, or white. Avoid bright colors, patterns, or anything too flashy. Make sure your clothes are clean, pressed, and fit well. Dark jackets or blazers add professionalism. Keep accessories simple, and your hair neat for a polished look.
How can I use my photos once you send me the high-resolution files?
Once you receive your high-resolution photos, you can use them for personal & professional purposes, such as printing, sharing online, or with family and friends. These images come with a limited general license for these uses. However, placing your photos on products for sale or in books may require additional licensing, and this may incur extra fees. If you're unsure about specific use cases, feel free to reach out directly for more details.
How quickly will I receive my photos?
You’ll typically receive your photos within 48 hours, depending on the session. If you need a quicker turnaround, expedited options are available.
Any tips for my hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup can really elevate your headshot. For the best results, we recommend scheduling these services as an add-on when you book your session. It ensures you're camera-ready and enhances your features for a polished look. Our makeup artists are skilled at providing a natural, fresh look that's perfect for photos. Feel free to add these options during the booking process for a complete experience!
To ensure you look your best, follow these simple tips:
Matte Skin: Keep your face oil-free. Even though many skincare products add a healthy glow, you want a matte finish for photos.
Hair: Style your hair to your liking but make sure it's tame and neat. Bring along a comb or brush for any touch-ups.
Manicure: A clean, well-maintained manicure can make a big difference. Smooth lotion on your hands, arms, and neck for a polished look.

What kind of backgrounds
do you offer?
We typically use white backgrounds for a classic, timeless look, but we’re happy to adjust to your creative preferences. Most background changes can be made in post-production to fit your vision.
Can I review my photos
after my shoot?
Yes, you can review your photos immediately after your session. An on-site technician will help you select the best shots for you and your crew. If you're unsatisfied with any images, we’ll retake them to ensure you're happy with the results!
How quickly will I get
the final headshots?
You can expect your final headshots to be edited and delivered within 2 business days for small groups (2-4 people), and 5-7 business days for larger groups (5+ people). Expedited options are also available. Retouching includes skin smoothing, blemish removal, and eye enhancement to ensure you look your best.
What comes with the session?
Each session includes a high-resolution, fully retouched image (300 dpi) with licensed usage rights for print, social media, websites, and marketing.
What happens when we
add new staff?
We know your team is expanding, and we’re here to help. New hires can schedule a 10-minute session directly with our studio, without you having to coordinate. We’ll make sure their photos match your team's look, maintaining consistency across the board.
What if someone can't make it?
If someone can’t make it, no worries! We offer easy-to-schedule makeup sessions in our studio to maintain consistency with the photos already taken. This ensures that your team's images stay cohesive, even if a member has to reschedule.
Can we also get a group photo
of the team?
Absolutely! We offer group photos for both small and large teams, in addition to individual headshots.
Can we get more than one photo for each person?
Absolutely! You can purchase extra photos on an a la carte basis
at the end of the session.

Where is your studio located?
The studio is located at 205 E Warm Springs Rd, Suite 102, Las Vegas NV, 89119 near the Las Vegas Premium Outlets South. We are just across the street from Sinclair Gas Station. This location is very convenient and near the major intersection of I-215 and I-15, and also pretty close to the Las Vegas Strip.
Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available in front of the studio.
